McKinsey's latest modular building report says that the construction method of
factory prefabrication may be the next major shift in the construction industry,
and the modular structure can increase the project construction speed by 50%.
By 2030, the US and European modular building markets are expected to reach $130 billion.
According to the report, “Modularity can save up to 20% in cost,
but if logistics or material costs soar, it is likely to generate losses of up to 10%.

In order to realize the advantages of a modular building system,
construction companies must choose the right and reasonable design and materials,
and overcome the challenges in design, manufacturing, technology application,
logistics and on-site assembly, and choose the right project location to make modular building technology.
